Key Mapping what am I doing wrong?

I don't seem to be able to add simple key mappings.

I go into them eg. Mixture up/down.....assign a key to a Warthog switch, click accept go back to the game and it doesn't work.

 

There must be something simple here guys can you help me out?

Same as this guy just a few threads down perhaps...

It might be obvios. But I need to ask. What plane are you using when trying to use the comands you just added?

 

What dificulty seting are you using? (Maybe you have engine control automated on the dificulty settings)

 

When you go back to the keybindings, do you see the asigned keys and buttons that didn't worked  there?

Yes, most likely is you have some of the simplified engine management boxes ticked in difficulty settings.  Check that first.

Trying to set up the Yak7 and thanks I will look into engine management settings.
