Can not buy collector plane?

I purchased IL-2 sturmovik battle of bodenplatte Standard Edition and later decided to get a collector plane ( P-38J-25 ) however the website will only let me buy as a gift and not for myself! Why can I not buy this plane for myself and if I buy as a gift can I use the key code for my own account?

Nope, I have the standard version, I should have purchased the Premium and then I would already have the P38...

Maybe check your account and make sure some enterprising soul didn't already gift you a P-38 somehow?

knowing this community, I was expecting some "you can't buy it because I already did it for you" post, like in other topic lol

It happened to me once with the La-5, lol. Unfortunately I am not in a position to be so generous right now.
