Taylorcraft L2

My brother in law was the owner of this Warbird (Or Kite if you will). This was used for artillery spotting of course, so it is a 2 seater front and back. the rear seat swiveled around to a little desk top for maps. Anyway he asked me if I wanted to go up with him and like "DUH" of course. So we where flying around a while and than he asked me if I would like to take the stick. So I grabbed the stick  put my feet on the rudder pedals and proceeded to fly around, up and down doing turns this way and doing turns that way. Than he asked me "Where did you learn to fly?" What do you mean? I asked.He replied " I was waiting for you to make the typical mistakes people do who are not pilots, you are a natural" I told him about IL-2.
