Haven't done MP in DCS yet. Might try it this year.

I do enjoy the Gazelle, but it ain't no Ka-50. ?

I must do something wrong. KA 50 fly sideways when I handle it

There's been no new date announced since it was cancelled on the 1st.  It won't be today since the patch thread hasn't been updated, Patch Status - DCS World 2.8 - ED Forums

It hasn't been updated...yet. Usually patches land around noon-ish eastern time. If we don't see it within two or three hours, then it's definitely not today.

I thought the Ka-50 was the one thing Lusekofte could actually fly and operate well, but not even that now? ?

The details! tire hit during combat, goes flat then at landing comes off from wheel, sparks everywhere.

I can operate it blindly but I think I might flown it with route on autopilot last time it was just not pointing its nose where I wanted it.
It’s sneaky way to perform it’s job well do not suit me, being smart and patient is not my cup of tea. This is why I am not too fond of the AH 64 either. Planes for smartasses.

I do not like switching seat in order to kill something but the one with cannon and rockets are pure fun. I love flying the Gazelle funniest chopper in game.

They work great on the Gazelle. ?

Use the cannon on Chinooks. Only takes a few rounds.

I'm not expecting the 400% increase he talked about. But if I get 25% or even a bit more, just enough to get me that edge, I'm not buying the new video card I was planning on getting. That's cash I'm very happy to spend elsewhere.

Same here.

I haven’t had time to bother testing the multithreaded branch of CB, nor will I. I’ll find out what it does along with you. I’ll be happy with whatever it gives me.

I’m getting some slight stutters in a few mission builds at Nellis - I’m fully expecting that to go away.

On another note - I’m in Tomcat air to ground school. ?

It’s called “I’m not competent in any module and I’d like that to change” ?

I’ll dive into the F-4, but if I can’t learn the Tomcat fully then really there’s no hope for me. Would be nice to have at least the option to go online.

I haven't learned any plane fully, least of all the Tomcat, it just doesn't grab me. But I can handle the Hornet and Harrier well enough to have a lot of fun. I'm halfway there with the Viper, might never get to the other half.

What brain cells I have left are being saved for the F-15E. And what will save me many exhausted neurons is I don't give two chits about cold starts or A2A. For me the F-15E is nothing a but a great big wonderful bomb truck with lots of lovely screens to watch things go "BOOM!" on.

What you need is to hopefully get quicker Internet so you can fly with us from time to time, we'll soon get you up to speed?

I live in a very developed area, but an island, and the DSL is oversold and sloooooooowwwww.

Supposed to get cable in the next few years, but we'll see if that happens or not.

That's hard to relate to...but you're up there in the Great White North and probably didn't get Top Gun in your blood..what with your borrowed Canucky Hornets and all. :P

You guys just need some Sun.  Puget Sound need some Sun.  Tromsoe needs a Sun that gets over 10 degrees elevation.  And Northjesus Canada, where CanadaOne lives, it’s no wonder why they are sawing all the trees down.

We saw them down because we hate them.

Well that's not entirely true, but... years ago we had bumper stickers made that said  "I Hate Trees". We put one on the chipper and my god the wussies went wild. No sense of humour at all. F' em.

The original Top Gun, with the Mig-28 carrying the Exocet missile? ?

I still remember laughing at that in the theater.

I like to land in supercarrier in the tomcat. I hate communicate with that jester punk.
but Trey say his better now.
Hornet is great until I fall asleep in the mids of tutorial.
same thing happen with a10 c

Harrier got in my mind better logic and easier to understand. I learned it a bit quicker. But probably forgot it all. It is still one I would love to revisit.
F1 Mirage still flirts with me. But not yet bought it.
F 15 I have no interest yet for. Do not know why

I guess choppers take all my time. Apache I might go ahead and learn the front seat.
Pilot seat is covered. Just need it to sit

I might do some easy hornet training just to get into Intruders weapon system quicker.

Normally it's fine, but in 07 the sun didn't come out again until June...I went to a tanning booth to get some UV. First and only time I ever did that.

I kid of course...I envy you that you know it well enough to just go fly and complete a mission. I'd like to get that with it at some point because there's lots of content for it.

As long as his nuts get fried learning the AWG-9 in the RIO position, and they will, he’ll consider his sacrifice worth it.

edit: what I hate the most about the F-14 is that the default display shows Vc vectors.  Closing Velocity.  That is totally useless.  I want to see aspect angles. So you “command” Jester to go to ground stable mode, to see relative headings, to do an intercept, because he sure can’t supervise one himself, and the you have to tell him the range you want to see…and what elevations you want to search, and this and that and the other.  And when you’ve got a human in the back seat, you wish you just had Jester back!  I think I hate the F-14.?????
