The 23 is a POS, maybe an interesting POS, but a POS nonetheless. Fun if there are no F-15’s, F-16’s, F-14’s or F-18’s on the map I guess.

Edit: Now that I don't have to type on my phone. This gentlemen was involved with/ran the Constant Peg program in which Russian assets were used for dissimilar aircraft training. In other words...MiGs.

 

They would use different setups for the missions sorties etc. Anyway his remark on the MiG 23 is that if you started of in the Eagle with the MiG 23 dead on your 6, you were basically offensive against that MiG. Such was the Mig 23...a POS. He's not the first guy who's said so.

It can't see for crap compared to it's adversaries, it can't turn, it's just fast.

 

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against crap planes, the more the merrier. If I had time to really fly like the old days I could see myself really learning a plane like that and going online to challenge myself. Will never happen, but the thought is appealing. Flying crap planes and winning is rewarding.

 

Just don't fool  yourself...it is a crap plane.

It’s a badass looking gunship, Bladesmith; I’ve loved it for hundreds of hours in DCS, but I as much as my imagination runs, I wouldn’t want to be in that in real life.

It's definitely a one man wrecking crew, but the probability of making it back home to fight another day is lessoning more and more in modern combat it seems. I don't think I would want to be in any attack helicopter these days.

I would not like to be in such a death trap against someone supported by BIG military nations.  
you can not dominate the sky at low level anywhere if opponents get tools against it. 
this is why I am happy we have this game so we can test it out and use labels if a mission turn out to be difficult. KA 50 is a gem. But as for flying Hind is much better

Paco flew an early $h1tball Flogger. We're getting the MLA, which will almost be a completely different and much more capable aircraft.

 

The GoS Floggers were early MS IIRC, models which couldn't even launch Fox Ones.

 

But why fly a Flogger when you could fly le Tw@tw@g€n?

I did that once in a Harrier. After a long weekendI finally got it. I never attempted it again due to a new chopper was suddenly avsilable.

I've only taken it for a quick joy ride so far to map basic controls, but so far yes, its pretty nice to fly?

I was usually seeing much more snowy peaks than your pic showed. Put the temp up a bit and saw more of what you showed. Very nice.
