 Just finished reading a book by a German soldier who fought in Eastern front from fall of Stalingrad to the end in 1945 as a machine gunner(MG34/42). Gruesome read at places, but tells a lot about the life of a soldier and what goes through his mind in the battle. Author: Günter K.
