He says an interesting thing about the sunlight: he feels his skin lingering for the sun's heat.

I've got an Oculus Rift. I use this in War Thunder - it is amazing , yes it's low res but it's the most amazing experience you will have and you will never want to go back to a mnitor. personally , I won't be buying anything without rift support from now on.

I got my hands on one as well!   It is truly amazing.  I passed on how absolutely Awesome the experience to Loft, and he seemed to agree and said he cannot wait to try his when he gets home.  Here is to hope!! :drinks: :drinks: :drinks:

It'll be amazing in a year or so when VR has gone mainstream and companies will be throwing money into developing the highest res screens available.  It'll get to the point where the only thing different with VR is you won't die if you crash a plane and you have limited G forces. Even this is being developed though -- the lines will be blurred from what is and isnt real:)

I alerady tried the rift from my coleague with warthunder. Even if the game itself sucks (just my personal opinion)  its enough to give a good impression on how its gonna be as a simpilot with the rift. Although its not practical for competitive play yet dues to the low resolution (before you know what plane you approach youre dead meat:)) its still every single bit the experience i was imagining. Its total immersion. The sense of scale is awesome. finally you get an impression of the size of the plane you maneuver. Also precise maneuvers like flying under bridges and trough hangard are so much easier since you have a true sense for the distances. Simply amazing. What i noticed it that i will beneeding a new chair. Mine has a headrest thats pretty high and when turning around to look at your six you need space:)

Everyone can rest assured. This thing is the next must have piece of hardware for simmers. (the endconsumer version that is).
