...that makes the whole difference.

 

So yesterday I set up a quick melee, 8 109s vs 8 Yaks, and whilst in the thick of the dogfight, I finally placed a good burst on the Yak in front of me. 

 

The plane's wing broke at the wing root and behaved as you'd naturally expect, with the fuselage pulling down and the wing "wrapping up" and breaking in different sections. It was just a moment, but so visually impressive and light years away from the clunky damage model we have been used to with the old IL-2.. 

 

It has been said before, but I must add to the list of congratulations to all the guys involved, you are really outdoing yourself with this product!
