So I thought I'd try and get Shadowplay working again. Where to start...

 

I can't assign different keyboard keys other than alt-F numbers. But it does work with those. Then I turned Bandicam on, so I could monitor the FPS while Shadowplay was recording...blammo, major screen corruption and Clod's resolution went tits-up.

 

Then I used my stick's TARGET gui to set a stick button to emulate the Shadowplay command...but gee, with the TARGET script running I can no longer center Track-IR with the other stick button I have assigned to that.

 

And these complete TOSSERS are on what kind of salaries for their half-baked SHITE software?! Not to mention the wankers who think they can charge various amounts for game-capture software, such as Bandicam, and not provide DX-input support (to allow controller buttons to work natively). And we're where on the temporal map...oh yeah, 2014. For a while there I thought we were still in 1985.

 

Sorry, had to vent.

 

Shadowplay software: half-baked.

TARGET software: SHITE.

Bandicam software (and the 20+ other vid-capture software I've tried): half-baked.

 

The simplest of things, a joystick button-press to activate video capture, not achievable. With hundreds of quids worth of hardware. Priceless.

Nvidia have made the software part of their product, so of course you're paying for it. It's supposed to increase sales etc, they didn't do it as charity or a free gift.

 

TS, on the other hand, is free.

I love shadow play and have no problem using my G940's software to set a button to emulate the keyboard command Shift+F10 to get shadowplay to save a shadow recording. But it reality it's not that hard to just press the keyboard command

I have been meaning to give Shadowplay a try, going to have to do that here soon... have heard good things about it.

 

Fwiw, I love the TARGET software, have found it to be very beneficial for creating some good in depth custom profiles for my flight sims.

I started out with the advanced GUI and am now into the scripting, it really is a very powerful program - but certainly not the easiest thing to digest. There certainly is a learning curve to it, especially when getting into the scripting portion.
