Is it possible to make FC plane loadouts persistent?

Since I'm flying in FC, and it's where I ran into this, I'm posting it here. I suppose it's a dev issue, but I find it to be a tad confusing on where to put things on this forum.

 

I have a new flight stick and throttle rig and I'm trying to set up key bindings using the Quick Mission Builder. This means I'm doing a lot of set/fly/set/rinse and repeats. This also means, since I'm trying out the limits of the flight controls, I need to restart missions occasionally (Often). I have to go back and load the planes' mods every time. Is there something I'm missing or was it intended to be this tedious and frustrating?

 Are you setting up the planes while you are making the mission selection?  When you select "Your Plane" or "EnemyPlane" you can set the load out, (as well as skin), at the same time. That way it will be set whenever you start that mission. 

 

  Also pretty sure if you just select "restart mission"  before the mission ends, it will restart with whatever load out you started with.  You can also just pause the mission at anytime, and set up key bindings in mid flight.

No. I was waiting until the briefing screen and using the tab there. This made a difference, thanks for the useful information.
