Rhapsodae Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Hey, this forum has been very helpful thus far. I got my Gladiator mk2 today thanks to the community here. But I am still with a few questions. Probably even more in coming days so I will reserve myself (and my squad) in this thread for further spamming. I got IL2 Stalingrad from the Steam sale and it really took off from there (ha! planes!) 1. I got the Battle of Stalingrad on steam and understood that the devs make more money by ordering the dlc's from the store. So I did. But now my overview is comeplete gone on "missing" dlc's and collector planes. Is it then possible to use the standalone and have steam dlc's linked there too? 2. Given my "owned" planes are all over the place I wonder how to find an overview of my planes in game. It seems the only time it makes sense to me what I own in an overview is when I go to dogfights online servers. But then its also time/event bound? 3. In mission I run out of fuel, ammo etc. There is conflicting intel on this being possible or not, but i believe a patch or two ago this was finally possible. But only in missions we make ourselves? I mean I actually managed to land at the departing airfield but I wasnt able to restock?

Hey there and welcome to the forum! 1) I don't know the answer to this as I have little experience with IL-2 and Steam. My understanding is that on Steam you won't see the DLC you bought through the IL-2 website but it should show up in the IL-2 main menu and on your IL2 profile. 2) The Quick Mission Builder will let you select aircraft you own and have a graphical indication of which ones you don't. 3) The rearming ability is a recent addition and you'll see it used on some multiplayer servers and not others. Typically, a WWII mission would involve take off, flying, maybe engaging the enemy, returning to base, turning off the engine and calling it a mission. So in single player, unless you've been told specifically, once you land, your mission is probably over. In multiplayer I would check the server notes to see if the feature is enabled or not.

Yes, I nearly bought 2 times some collector planes, I forgot I already bought them on sale and didn´t fly them. I decided to buy further from store only, it is easier for overview, and better for developer.

If you buy BoS on Steam first thing you should do is link your game account with GreatBattles account. If you don`t link, your steam purchases will not use content from IL2 store. Also remember that even if you purchase dlc on IL2 store, steam store will not detect those purchases so in steam store those same dlcs will be available to buy (no "In Library" tag). Which doesn`t make a difference if you link both accounts, as you still use all content as one game.
