III/JG11

G'day Everyone

 

Many years ago i used to fly in a squad called III/JG11, most of the the lads were scattered through out Australia and was wondering if there are some still flying today.

If you lads are i am pretty keen to get back into it ( just have to build a computer for it ).  

I still keep in contact with Goggo and i can get in contact with Slippery. Back in the day i was III/JG11_Davo from South Australia.

It would be great to hear from you's its been a while.

Hey mate, I'm kinda a surrogate member, only being given my tags by Bear a bit over a year ago. He is the only one from the group who I'm flying with. I'm not as proffessional as you guys were/are, having still a lot to learn.

You can send me a friend request on Steam (astrospud) , and from there, we can sort out a slot in the Discord channel under Il2 Asutralia.

Sorry for the late reply Astro i was never good at the sim, I'm glad we had the likes of Bear Goggo Simmo Winter Hob Slips and the Tigers plus a few others that i have missed  in our Squad to guide us bad pilots in the right direction but geez it was good fun back in the day.

Hi Davo, Simmox and Spud. I'm coming out of the wilderness to give BOS a try. Certainly have fond memories of picking up IL-2 FB ten years ago and joining JG11 the same time as Simmox. Will be good to relearn and fly in formation again.

I've just started flying a bit of multipalyer again with VR this time, been a long time since we all flew together great days.

Hey Tiger Geez long time no see. I have been going down the same path getting into the VR side of things as well. I am waiting on the Pimax Lite that i have on order it will arrive around end of July beginning of August. I was using the HP Reverb but has not had the support of late. 

Have to say VR is unbelievable 

I hope you Mel and Mike are doing well. I still catch up with Goggo and Slipry so i will say gday to them.

I'm still struggling along with a quest 1, which is still better IMO than track IR, I have it working about as good as it can but will look at upgrading to something better in the future.
