Out of Body Experience ?

I just did a Quick Mission where I was perched just above and behind a very well dressed and animated Pilot - who was in my seat !!

 

Lots of fun to observe but very hard to sight the guns from this position.

 

Can someone please explain how this is controlled  ?

 

I have also done Bristol QM's where the rear gunner is  a) on board behind me doing a great job and b) just an unmanned gun ( also doing a great job )

 

Same sort of issue ??

 Welcome!

Press number pad 5 and that will center you in the cockpit default position. If using VR press the key you have mapped to Default VR view under Pilot head control in game settings.

If you need to adjust the position use the Delete, End, Pg Down, Pg up, Home and Insert keys to your liking and then press F10 to save. Then when you press number pad 5 (or Default VR view) it will place you in the saved seating position.

I find myself seated to the right of the cockpit sight.  I tried the solutions  provided by Gordon200', and none of them work. I often have problems getting my Key-mapping selections to work.

I just got a Rift S VR set, Thanks to all the help here I am flying.

I too can not seem to position the pilot, I am to the right and a little back.

I have tried the key commands to no avail, But will keep trying.
