The Taifun is one of the new flyable aircraft in TFS 5.0. IL-2 Cliffs of Dover Blitz North African expansion.

 

The Luftwaffe utilised the Taifun during WW2 as a personal transport and liaison aircraft.

This is the one I am looking forward to the most, will be good to have something like this flyable as a accompaniment to the Tiger Moth already available, too few of these types are added to combat simulations and Oleg and his team certainly gave us a wealth of varied and unusual types in this one.

Fun to fly I bet, and will be a challenge to get from A to B without getting shot down during a battle...

With the clickpits, more realisric radio and autopilot gear, authentic startup and operaring procedures, this one will make an excellent trainer and leisure plane to fly. Not all of our time flying has to be combat.
