That would make for an amazing Coop mission based on The Warriors / Xenophon’s March of the Ten Thousand.

 

Central players start some 50 miles behind enemy lines and need to fly back home as they get attacked by increasingly tougher AI waves. First Dolphins, then SEs and SPADs, and finally Camels. Then finally you see it.
