I am using opentrack (z-axis for head forward/back) and I can zoom in and out as I like to on every plane including the D9. Try to bind head forward/back to your TrackIR device (z-axis) and keybind zoom in/out to an axis of either your joystick or HOTAS device. I have bound zoom in/out to my HOTAS, works flawless for me.

I have tried this with every other german plane I own to see if it happens and it does not, except for the D9, as soon as I get in game with the D9, my settings and head position are fine, I can move my head forward and backward using trackir just fine, but as soon as I click the zoom in/out keybind on my HOTAS, my head positioning glitches and instantly leaves me zoomed in on the gun sight area of the plane, it is hard to describe it but I believe that this is definitely a game glitch with this plane, because I cannot replicate the problem on any other german plane.

Have you tried another keybind on your HOTAS or Joystick? Does this also happen when you use the keyboard for zooming in and out?
Rolltide Posted December 30, 2019 Author Posted December 30, 2019 Interesting, I tried to use the keyboard zoom in/out and at the start it would not let me zoom out at all, but would not let me zoom in, if you have the D9, can you send me a screenshot of your default cockpit zoom? here is what is starts we out as before I touch any zooms, but if I click the keyboard zoom out, it will not let me zoom out at all. The next picture is the picture once I click zoom in/out and apparently once I click zoom in/out the game believes that this is the default zoom, which if this is the default zoom, this is ridiculously zoomed in.
