ISSUES with Joystick warthog hotas USB ID assignments keep changing from JOY0 to JOY1 etc

Hi has anyone been able to fix this issue by any chance please.

 

I play with the Hotas Warthog joystick, throttle and TFRP pedals , I use the thrustmaster IL2 Hotas Target GUI assignment, I am on windows 10.

 

However I found that the joystick USB assignments are always changing on Windows 10, to JOY01 - JOY0 - JOY02 etc !!!!

 

This is so annoying as you go into the IL2 BOS game and sometimes it works with the profile from Thrustmaster and sometimes windows 10 reassigned the USB ID again and it is back to square one.

 

Any help would be great please

I have to start TARGET before I open up the game if you don't it sees your throttle and Stick as separate controllers instead of "Combined" as it should be with TARGET running.  Delete everything in the  IL2/data/input/devices.txt file.

Start TARGET and restart game and it will regenerate.
