Getting some game crashes to desktop when restart mission

Been having some of this in last few days and never had it before.

I fly in VR with Rift S so not sure if that is a factor in this.

 

IL-2 has always been very stable for me. But in last few days I have noticed if I end a mission and choose to restart the mission, often the game just closes and I am at my desktop.

It is not often I do that, just something that has been happening all of a sudden when I do. Not every time I choose to restart, but a good amount of times.

 

Can't recall this ever happening previous to the last update.

Got another one today.

I had flown an artillery position attack in Career, and screwed up so I exited and clicked on restart mission.

This time after I landed from the Career Mission, and clicked to finish. Game crashed to desktop, so not results recorded from Mission.

Again, only happening in a mission in Career that I have selected to restart.

Never had this happen when exiting a normal mission with no restart involved.
