Do tanks obey this mcu?

Does anything obey it? What does it do?

Never used it.

I use it to make ai planes to "loiter" in a big circle for practice missions...

trying to get around the fact ai tanks will not turn towards enemy tanks.

AI vehicle logic is very simple.

You can get them to turn toward enemy tanks with a bit of creative scripting I think

Triggers/alternate waypoint routes/waypoint priority.

If a unit is out of orders and within the range of the POI they will go there and perform the POI action. You can set if it's just flying around or attack planes or ground units.

You can achieve the same outcome with other MCUs but this one is probably the easiest way to achieve it with just a single MCU. And no object linking.

Do you have a test mission, because as Gambit, i never used it, as i never understand what it does.

Hmm....I don't tend to use open ended logic so doesn't sound like something I’d use. If I understand the purpose correctly that is.

It is sad that something like this is not documented! The programmers know what they're programming. Why doesn't anyone write it down?

Unfortunately documentation is something that nobody wants to do. It costs take time and does not bring money. Very little number of users will really read it in detail.

Devs count on the players to do the job. A magnificent job Jim did, and we were lucky for that. His manual has been my bible for sometime before mastering well enough the whole ME. And this is many months, and still a lot of trial and error to do because there are so many combinations that behave in different ways, tricks, issues etc. No manual can have it all. I am afraid you have to do your own homework, and ask questions on the forum, hoping someone has a solution or a hint, and slowly master this tool. The ME even if it has bugs, issues and we would like many additional features, it is still an awesome tool.

I still refer on it all the time I spend on the FME...

But it's only 2 weeks
