Berimbau Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Since the last big update, the pilots in the p47 (and only in the p47 so far, not tested every single plane) are sometimes, randomly, standing in the cockpit. Is there a solution to this graphic error?
Art-J Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Yep, It started happening with BoBP release. Been reported already, but we've been told it's a difficult, intermittent bug to investigate and fix. No solution available yet. 1
Raptorattacker Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 (edited) It's not just the Thunderbolt with the 'Fresh Air Breathing Pilots'... that said it's also not very predictable either as it doesn't happen EVERY time. What it does do though is make it a little impractical for making a video (in this case a rather successful Ace Career Mission!). NB The video ISN'T 'Public' and is confined viewing only to those who have this link. It DOES look like a strange game of 'Airfield Charades', having watched it again!! IckyATLAS Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 It's weird indeed. Sometimes it is the pilot in the seated position as when flying the airplane but he has a wrong vertical coordinate relative to the cockpit seat. So he is well positioned but above his seat. On other occasions he is standing with the arms wide open which seem to be the default pose for admiring the pilot dressing, but again at the same height of the seat. Two issues here, the choice of the wrong pilots body pose, and the vertical offset from his seat.

69th_Mobile_BBQ Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 I've seen He-111 nose gunners doing the "Superman" under the nose as well. Brave bois! I almost want to say this has something to do with all the 1 bullet PKs Allied pilots and human gunners suffer online...

I thought it had to do with the new pilot physiology but I never thought it might have to do with this bug.
dburne Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Just wanted to mention this bug is still there after today's update. At least I can confirm in the Spit Mk IX.
