Roman6Alpha Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I got a T-50CM today and did all the firmware and installation. Launched the game and did all the keymapping in the start menu. When I actually launch the game and get into the cockpit the throttle does not work. It will not do any axis or buttons. It is working fine in DCS. Anyone got any suggestions or had the same issue? I have been using a Virpil stick and stick base for the last few months with no issues.

Have a look in your input / devices folder and see if the game has recognized your new hardware. Mine below has my old disconnected hardware together with my new . Your new throttle will show up like in the red text if installed correctly. configId,guid, model| 0,%228630e2c0-4b38-11e4-0000545345440180%22,SideWinder%20Force%20Feedback%202%20Joystick| 1,%228631cd20-4b38-11e4-0000545345440280%22,CH%20PRO%20THROTTLE%20USB| 2,%228631cd20-4b38-11e4-0000545345440380%22,CH%20PRO%20PEDALS%20USB| 3,%2286321b40-4b38-11e4-0000545345440480%22,CH%20THROTTLE%20QUADRANT| 4,%22be87b5d0-5ff5-11e6-0000545345440180%22,CH%20THROTTLE%20QUADRANT| 5,%22d0d75220-0e31-11ea-0000545345440180%22,RIGHT%20VPC%20Stick%20MT-50CM| 6,%2211e92a80-0f82-11ea-0000545345440180%22,MFG%20Crosswind%20V2| 7,%2225220bb0-182b-11ea-0000545345440180%22,VPC%20NO%20PROFILE| 8,%22966c7ad0-1830-11ea-0000545345440180%22,LEFT%20VPC%20Throttle%20MT-50%20CM
Roman6Alpha Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 It is showing up in the input folder as you have shown. I am able to set the keymaps in the keymapping screen so it is reading there, when I try to view input response in game it does not show up.

Since you have had your Virpil stick for a few months , have you updated your joystick firmware to the same version (latest) as you did with your throttle. There might be a conflict with different firmware versions. I also disconnect my stick from the PC when updating firmware on my throttle and vice versa with the throttle when updating the joystick. Also check to see if you are running both pieces of hardware under the same profile. Edited December 21, 2019 by bzc3lk
Roman6Alpha Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 They are both updated on the firmware to latest version and each has its own profile.

Found this on the net, same issue as you are experiencing. His solution was to delete his bindings folder and re bind his controls.
Roman6Alpha Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 Got it sorted. I re-read your post about unplugging the stick when updating firmware on the throttle and that did the trick it seems. Thanks alot for the help!

I have my base mounted at floor level with a 300mm extension, it has changed my style of combat. Cannot slam the stick around like the previous set up, but I love the accuracy of the hardware. I would highly recommend purchasing MFG Crosswind pedals to compliment your existing Virpil control set up, smooth and accurate.
