zarkon48 Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Coming back to flight sims after a long hiatus. I'm working with my newly built gaming pc and my trusty old Saitek X52 pro melded to a MS Sidewinder FF base. The Sidewinder throttle axis seems to work fine while flying but starts behaving strangely just before touch down. On the Spitfire it rolls the throttle up to about 1/3 and won't budge any lower, on the P51 it holds at 1000 rpm and won't settle, flaps down. I've watched the % go magically from 0 to 31% just near flare??? I've had to shut down the engine to land. In flight it seems to go to 0% no problem. I tried putting an 8% dead zone on the low side in the axis set up. When moving the throttle i sometimes get reports about weather it is changing engine 1 or engine 2. I tried using the 1 and the 0 keys to get to single engine only, but that didn't seem to help. This is while flying only single engine planes.
RedKestrel Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 In your key bindings, is the throttle axis maybe bound to multiple controls by mistake?
TCW_Brzi_Joe Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Is that single player? Maybe you should disable all help (go full real flight), and then try?
bzc3lk Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 (edited) Look for this ( Orange Square ) in your control settings, for the possible multiple control assignments on the same axis or key. Edited December 20, 2019 by bzc3lk
zarkon48 Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 Realism/ throttle auto limit, that was the problem. Thanks guys for the quick response.
