Is there enough destruction on the ground before the start of the campaigns?

I have often spoken to my parents how lived in Leuven a rail jub in Belgium during WW2 and they always said that nearly every day from 1943 to septembre 1944 the English bombers at night and the Americans at night did bobmb their city and caused much destructions. And once liberated the V1 and V2 became the danger from the sky to add more damage. But in the game they not seems so.

look at this video and judge by yourself. I know this is a big city but the planes bombing it were more numerous also.

 

Maybe there should be corection or more map with  destruction in nearly all cities?

All Europe was in ruins after WW2, Russia more so.
