Mission Resaver tool

Hi guys,

I have just released a new version for my Content Downloader tool.
The new version introduces a new feature - a new menu that scans all of your *.Mission files in your game folder and lets you choose what files you want to resave with an easy to navigate menu (at least I think so hehe).

This mission resaver feature is really useful if a new version of the game came out or if you have a lot of downloaded missions but they are for old game version.
Currently the feature only supports scanning files in Missions and Campaigns folders, if additional folder will be requested I will add a support for them (like MP missions).

 

From my testings, it takes 1:30 hours to resave 220 missions, but it depends on your CPU and the rest of the hardware.

Whats New in 0.2?
- Added resave missions menu that will scan all your .Mission files and let you choose which one to resave.
- News page with the ability to click "Show New Content" button to see the new content.
- Left category menu is now resizable.
- Slight GUI redesign and the ability to choose white/yellow backgrounds (Still Work in Progress).

Hi,

The links are indeed dead because it was a part of missions downloader which was not so popular and the server costs were too high to keep the project alive.
But I am planning to release set of tools including this resaver tool in the near future. 

The set of tools are:

• Campaign progress editor
• Resaver tool
• Maybe some other tools that I was thinking about..

Thanks guys for the interest in my projects, hopefully I will find some time releasing what I am planning and mentioned above.

I am really looking forward to the re-release of your Resaver tool as well. Some of the content creators are very generous in re-releasing their uploads every time an IL2 update comes out, but I can see this getting onerous over time. I like being able to handle this myself and the Resaver tool looks to make this a simple chore.

Thanks guys your replies increases the morale to keep releasing tools for this community, I will make sure to find the time soon for this task.
