Definitely the best that could happen to VR market in a long time. Bad for buyers who were looking for a new headset (me ?). Still quite happy with my CV1 but one speaker died after 2 years. Not dramatic, but better fov and resolution wouldn't hurt either.

Was thinking about Rift S, but with no IPD adjustment and that "Vice" head strap, i am not really sure about it. Had a Lenovo explorer for a short time, got headaches after a few minutes playing. Never had this problem with the rift.

I have found I prefer the Halo headband of the Rift S, just seems more comfortable to me.

I have both a Quest and a Rift S and, to me, the Rift S is MUCH more comfortable than the Quest.  Even with buying some of the extra support from VR cover for the Quest, it's still not as comfortable as the Rift S.  I can play for 2-3 hours straight in Rift S without any issues comfort wise.

Also wanted to jump into the world of VR - unfortunately the fixed IPD of the Rift S isnt suitable for me.

Thinking about getting the Quest with Link but I am not sure.
