J37_GCF Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 hi would you like me to include your skins in the Unoffical Flying Circus skin bundle ?
NO.20_W_M_Thomson Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Wish the 20th RFC/RAF squad had some skins like B 1288, Our skinner put the 20th emblem on the tail end just to make it more interesting. Not completely historical but hey we need to stand out a bit right?

J5_Adam Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Most if not all Entente plane has six bull's eyes. 4 on the wings, and 2 on the fuselage. Personally, I unintentionally hit them while I'm aiming for the pilot and engine. Lousy shot. 11 hours ago, NO.20_W_M_Thomson said: Wish the 20th RFC/RAF squad had some skins like B 1288, Our skinner put the 20th emblem on the tail end just to make it more interesting. Look at some of the beautiful historical skins being made. It's awesome.

Unfortunately there's just no images of their planes that we have found yet, there's not even a group photo I can use for our web site. There is single pictures of each pilot and that's it. Say is that your pup in your profile pict?
1PL-Lucas-1Esk Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Maybe there are some RFC 20 skins made for the Rise of Flight?

There is for FC, 1 for FIII and 2 for FII but we wanted individual skins, so CPT Max created RFC/RFA skins with just the plane numbers that each pilot flew. In 1918 the RFC 20th became RAF. FC version 1 is 1918 so we're going with RFA.

No. 20 Squadron RAF markings: Squadron marking - one white vertical bar in front of the fuselage cockade. (Note: in 1917 this was originally one bar in front and one bar behind cockade - changed on October 5th 1917). Individual plane markings - Letters 'A' to 'S' painted roughly below the pilot cockpit. (Squadron marking not seen on this example) Edited December 19, 2019 by US93_Larner
No.23_Gaylion Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 (edited) https://www.pen-and-sword.co.uk/Winged-Sabres-Hardback/p/14799 20 Squadron was possibly the highest scoring squadron of the war and one of the most highly decorated, claiming over 600 combat victories with well over 400 confirmed in RFC & RAF Communiqués. Its members won seventy gallantry decorations including a posthumous Victoria Cross, and included fliers from the U.K. and around the world. Over 40 became aces, including the American Iaccaci brothers and some Canadians and others. But with a casualty rate of around 50% including killed, wounded and POW they paid a high price.Over 15 years research has gone into this book, covering a seldom-explored aspect of WW1 in the air: the two-seater fighter-reconnaissance squadrons. 20 Squadron’s motto was Facta Non Verba – Deeds Not Words! I'm willing to bet there are some great pics in here. The best research is when you find someone else's research. Edited December 19, 2019 by US213_Talbot
