356thFS_Piranha Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 As the title says. Is there a way to adjust your head movement in VR to get it like trackir so that a less than 1 to 1 movement allows you to check 6. Before the criticism starts about the purpose of VR and immersion think about someone who has a bad neck. Thanks for any replies.
dburne Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 No. I too have not so great a neck, a swivel chair helps some. Then just good ole situational awareness.
Solmyr Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 I have a more or less chronic torticollis too.. ?
TCW_Brzi_Joe Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 - Set "VR view recenter" (Num5) on joystick, look right, press, look left, you will se your 6. Look strait and click it again to go back. - Use 3dmigoto with angeled view, 15deg, or 30deg, I use it with 45deg. It is not perfect for checking 6, many glithces occur. - "VR advanced settings" alow 90deg turn, or full 180deg turn. Unfortunately, you may bind it to vr controllers only, and they auto turn off, when you need it most I wish that developer somehow implement 3rd option into game keybindings.
356thFS_Piranha Posted December 14, 2019 Author Posted December 14, 2019 Thanks Joe. Good advice! Still wish for a more natural solution, but these are not bad.
Dano Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 I have a feeling that achieving the aim in OP would also increase nausea by about infinity so the other solutions posted are probably far better.
