nessuno0505 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 I've bought on steam BOS, BOM and BOK. I've linked my Il-2 profile with steam and I have activated my BOS license key on my Il-2 profile, but I can't (or I do not know how to) activate my BOM and BOK keys in my Il-2 profile. Nevertheless, on steam both BOK and BOM are installed and work as a DLC (steam downloadable content). Is it possible to activate BOM and BOK keys on my Il-2 profile? But more important: is it possible to use my steam keys to install and play the standalone version? Does the standalone version work with Oculus rift API or do I need steam VR in any case? Thanks. 1
Dano Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Stand alone does not work with oculus api/sdk whatever it's called, you need either steamvr or opencomposite, not sure for the other questions I'm sorry to say. https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR/blob/master/README.md
nessuno0505 Posted December 11, 2019 Author Posted December 11, 2019 My performances are quite good with steamVR, if steamVR is necessary, then I'm ok with my steam version, no need to switch to standalone even if possible. Thanks.

There you can see your purchases and license keys. There you can also download the game to your computer.
Lusekofte Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 I do not use steam vr for my Rift S I find open composite and find it marginally better for vr.

SOLIDKREATE Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 I just close that window and run the Oculus software. You do need a second monitor though just to make sure you can click the meus. But after the planes spawns you are good. I just wish there was a way to turn down the brightness. On Stalingrad Summer, the colors are washed out and it seems to bright.
Visage Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I'm curious if it's possible to transfer from Steam to Standalone as well. My account is linked and I own BoS, BoK, and Fortress on the Volga on Steam. When I run the standalone I only have access to BoS. I understand buying from the IL2 store transfers to steam through the linked account, but does it do it the other way around?
