Significant Bodenplatte Bomber Escort Bug

I recently picked up the premium edition of Bodenplatte and have absolutely been loving it. I just started a P51D career though and the AI bombers seem to be bugged. They will proceed to their drop point, and drop when they get there. But instead of returning to base, they fly aimlessly in one direction and then another for 30 minutes at a time, until 2 hours later when my squadron is so low on fuel, and so far from base by that point, that they literally drop out of the sky. I have had this happen 2 escort missions in a row, and since the objective is technically never completed, these always end in mission failed too which is never fun.

On a side note, I seem to have noticed another bug during Ground Cover Missions across all of the great battles. I have seen this mentioned before years ago, but it seems the enemy planes almost never spawn until you get a "mission objective complete" message after circling the action point. I do not remember the last time there was any resistance in the area until after the objective is completed, at which point enemy attack planes and fighters seem to spawn then exactly on cue. By the time they reach you though, if you are not the commander all of your wing mates have flown home, leaving you to either always spend 10 minutes circling the action point, doing nothing, and then rtb, or personally taking on all enemy planes (with the help of any straggler friendlies outside your wing in the area if you are lucky).

Thanks for the fantastic content!
