Battle of ... scenario location

Stupid Q: In my v 4.002 BOX - FC1 missions folder from within the game i saw 3 Battle of ... folders, f.i Battle of Kuban. But where are they located? Not in my data/missions folder ...

You won't see them in your folders. Maybe with ungtp tool but not by just navigating to the game folders.

ungtp, never heard of, but i'd like to edit one of 'em a little. thnx.

PS Dragging the missions.GTP file on to the unGTP.exe extracts the content to a (null) directory.

Now got to figure out how to gtp them again ....

LEAVE the missions.gtp there, or the game wont start  !!!

 

But there are no embedded *.mission files, only *.msnbin. To open them, as they are not shown in the open mission file folder, is by typing the file name manually. Alas, loading the file gives an error:

The RoF gtp extractor doesn’t work with this series.  If you look in the Mod section of the website there is a version that is tailored for Il-2.  The extracted files are then readable.
