"Soviet offensives against Finland grind to a halt in the face of bitter weather and tenacious defense. Molotov issues a protest to Italy for selling 35 Fiat G.50 fighters to Finland to supplement the Fokker D-XXIs and obsolete Bristol Bulldog biplanes in service. Over the next month the United States sells 44 Brewster Buffaloes to Finland while Britain sells 30 Gloster Gladiators, 8 Hurricanes, and 22 Bristol Blenheims and France donates 30 Morane Saulnier MS.406 fighters."
