YoYo Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 (edited) Hmmm, FC was release as official, but.... in some of aircrafts I see this strange graduation on bomb sight. For me its something wrong, pls see this examples: Bristol F.2B: FC bombsight (on scale I have only 3-4.5 km without scale and speed 110 or 130 km/h only) and I can move arrow between only this digits, that's all: RoF bombsight (full operation scale), here is on and no problem with level bombing: It looks like a bug? 1CGS LukeFF Posted December 9, 2019 1CGS Posted December 9, 2019 Not a bug - that's the way it was designed. 1
RNAS10_Oliver Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 (edited) I do not believe your second image, with greater variables, shows the Bristol but instead shows the DH4, RE8, FE2B or Strutter (can tell due to where the fuselage blocks part of the bombsights view). The third image does but appears (poor image quality though) to show the same limited variables as in the Bristols bombsight in FC anyway. From my memory and also consulting the manual for Rise of Flight the same limited variables for the Bristols bombsight are evident there. Here is also the same image that your third one shows but in better quality zoomed to show the airspeed and altitude parameters, you can see same limited variables. So yeah I am seeing nothing wrong. The issue with the bombsight is just that we were given the Bristol Fighter rather than the DH4. ? Edited December 9, 2019 by Oliver88 1
1PL-Lucas-1Esk Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Yes, both in RoF and FC, the Bristol's bombsigh has a very limited settings, both speed and altitude. Even in RoF, there were some differences: German bombsight, French Breguet 14 bombsight, Bristol bombsight, RE8/DH4/FE2b bombsight, HP 0/400 bombsight. Each type being different. 1
