Making IL2 run in nVidia vs integrated processor

Recommended Posts

Ok so Im having career mode probs.   1c support hasnt done much besides poimting out il2 isnt running on my nvidia and wont really proceed from there (support)

Im wary this is the actual issue for reasons I wont get into but I did goohgle how to change it.  Clicking on thebsystem tray icon and selecting games and telling it to run them in it - yet 1C claims (from files I resent) the game still runs on my integrated processor.

So selecting the game on a list of games to force use from the nvidia system.tray (near the time) doesnt work.. what do I do?  Any ideas how I can force the graphics card to be used?  Googling brought me results that Id tried and failed

Hi,

strange - I thought your IL2 was working until now?

Did you mess around with your NVidia drivers? Because, if you install the latest drivers correctly, usually your system should recognize your NVidia graphic card as the default

graphic processor.

Download the latest NVidia drivers for your graphic card. When installing those drivers, do not select express installation, but the custom one. Here you can indicate to perform

a clean install, which means the installation routine will previously delete all old driver files before installing the new ones. When I update my drivers I always do a clean install.

Never had any issues since.

It works. However career mode freezes. If u wanna pm me I can tell ubhow I know the graphics isnt the prob.

Howeber for performance Id rather my csrd be workinf! I csnt tell howndxdiag and msinfo32 reports tell them.my.comp isnt using nvidia bu advice would.help?

For one I havent messed with drivers..im downloading a 500.meg sriver update now though.

I did try new things to "force" nvidia use thru system tray.. and id like to know how I can see ifnits beinf used or not?

Then I can work on career mod but pwgc is fine. I.m shocked. If i was gettingnthis.frm the integrsted grafix csrd the nvidia will be fantastic! I must get it workimg

Ooof even worse 1c said its still using the graphics processor. Im not so sure my msinfo32 says its runninf now.  They simply said its incorrect

I have to admit im slowly losing patience with their support.  They say its wrong but dont offer solution.  They ignore my continual questions of how then do I fix the graphics card.  I know its not ezactly their purview but I have a feeling they could help and quickly.  Further I gave them the reason why im sure this isnt the issue which was ignored the reason js prettycompelling
