D3D error in ME

Happens most of the time to be when zooming in, or trying to move around on the Bodenplatte map.  Any way to get around this?

 

Decent system, 12gb ram, GTX970

Not sure. I used to have problems with a map full of objects.  Now when I load objects onto a clean map from the template, I do it one category  at a time and crop out the objects in areas I am not using. The Bodenplatte map is very large with a lot of houses to draw.
