Hi,

well I know that's just a cosmetic problem and this question might be a bit stupid but is there a way to delete/dense/replace trees in a specific area of the Rheinland map?

I tried to make the city (here Düsseldorf)  to look more similar to the real look of the time frame (April 1945 ~95% of all houses were bombed/destroyed) which worked good so far,
only the green trees in the backyards are looking a bit misplaced now.

I tried to replaced them with BOBP winter trees, the Lapino winter trees and "deleted" all trees.
But none of this looks satisfying.

If there's a way to dense them out or delete just in an area (not on the whole map as i did) I would like to know how.
Does The "Locations -> substrate" in the Mission Editor do the trick (if so, how) ?

Sadly i didn't found any manual that explains the "Locations"-stuff.
I will be grateful for any tips.

The greatest thing would be to replace them with the "dead trees" of the nomansland from the Arras map.

Yeah I know a lot of people were glad to have my "problems" ;)

Well i thought so, anyway thank you very much for that fast reply.

I think I will use the BOBP-winter trees then.

I had the same issue with the Herlbrug sequence (see:

were part of the city was destroyed and burnt down.

The trees were perfectly fine in the middle of incinerated blocks.

Would be very immersive if we could have the choice of deleting tree zones and replace them by static blocks of burnt and broken trees.

When you fly low or 500mt or so over these cities then you would get a better feeling of what it was back then. Nice lush trees an parks amidst burnt ruins makes everything surreal and fake.
