 I think  Flying Circus has done a pretty good job with the Arras Map & depiction of the Front...better I think than Rise of flight in some ways , but it could be improved .To prove my point: I recently came across several pics of aerial views of No-man's Land. A picture tells a thousand words..

Isn't it up to us to put in burnt out villages on the mud? do we have burnt out villages in the editor?

There are thousands photos of NML in archives but unfortunately no resources to made authentic look. I wish we could have season and one where shell holes and mine crates are filled with dirty brown water. Overall to be honest not much artistic souls was involved during texture work , this my opinion but the constraints are ugly and if I would have them maybe I would approve same end result.

The whole landscape should be torn up much more. The war allready raged some years in that area. The no man's land  just stops and untouched countryside begins.
