[314th]mrkev99 Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 Hi all! I am tryin to open my ports for IL2. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it just doesn't work. I tried some check tools for open ports but everytime It just says "Port is closed". On screen you can see my current port settings, and my ipconfig result. I checked my pc firewall too and alowed these ports too. Still doesn't work. I wanted to host coop server (created in-game, not Dserver) but my friend still couldn't join me. Can anyone help me solve this problem please? Thank you!
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 This IP address no need to be anonymised - this network class is not routable. No one will reach you by knowig only this internal IP address. Back to you question, looks ok to me - even more- there is no need to open port 28100 UDP. This almost 3am and i can miss something.. BTW Did you check if port is open using site similar to this (game must be started in coop mode) alt -tab and see port 28000 Maybe ISP policy is not allowing for that... https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/
[314th]mrkev99 Posted November 30, 2019 Author Posted November 30, 2019 (edited) Yes.. unfortunately I started server and then checked the ports on the same site you wrote...closed Honestly I think its ISP policy.. I think I have to call him. Edited November 30, 2019 by [314th]mrkev99
Cynic_Al Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 As you're running the server in-game: Have you checked 'Available from Internet'? Have you set a firewall rule to allow il2.exe to access the Internet?
[314th]mrkev99 Posted December 1, 2019 Author Posted December 1, 2019 Yeah I checked it and allowed in firewall too. Outbound and Inbound rules.

You will find DServer.exe in the bin/game folder. The app uses a .sds configuration file holding your servers settings. You should find an example sds file in the data folder, however I attach an example sds file with improved annotations. Just save it in the data folder with a suitable name, then open it with a text editor and add your account credentials and your server's parameters in the locations shown. When you start DSserver, click File/Open and specify your sds file. Alternatively you can automate the process as described here. il2_example.zip
