343KKT_Kintaro Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 Hi all. I posses 4 modules in the "Great Battles" series (Stalingrad, Moscow, Kuban, and Bodenplatte). I installed the game in my computer, at home, and I can run the game as often as I want… but very soon I'll spend a few months at somedy else's place, in the South of France. Do I need to move my computer? or, on the contrary, can I procede to a second install of the game in a computer that belongs to my family, in the South of France, so that I only need to move my HOTAS and my TrackIR?

VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 To follow up on this question, I have 2 installs, 1 for VR and 1 for non-VR. Each have their own settings. The concern comes with updates. Will the launcher in each install properly update each without interfering with the other's settings, etc.? Until now I have had to do a copy which sucks.

I gues that the above only affects users who have two installs in the very same computer, one for VR and one for non-VR (as user "VBF-12_Stick-95" has). Very shortly, I'll leave behind both my home and my computer, and I'll arrive at a different place where a different computer will be available. My question is… what about that "JSGME" thing? will be helpful to me? Interesting idea however there are more than just the startup.ini involved, including the uninstall of Reshade files. It is still possible but creates some other issues.

It is still possible but creates some other issues. I've both Reshade and startup.ini for VR set for JSGME. Very simple for startup.ini. With Reshade you need to run the game first, set up reshade in-game and then move the files to JSGME folder.
