VR HUD is bound to monitor target FPS unintentionally

When I have 90 FPS and turn on the HUD in VR the framerate dropped to 60 FPS. After I increased target framerate (only possible in non VR monitor mode) this drop to 60 FPS does not longer happen in VR. Perhaps HUD update rate is limited by target framerate in the monitor settings. Please allow change of target framerate in VR or decouple HUD refresh from target FPS in VR.
