This would also make the projectile slow enough to denonate fast enough, while still being in contact with the rear side of the propeller. There are probably no other (or very few) hits on the aircraft, that would indicate a lucky hit by flak indeed. If it was MG-151/20, I'd expect more hits on the aircraft of the other pilot landed such a close hit. 1
