I wonder how much behavior is effected by difficulty. Are they more dynamic on hard versus medium, as vague as a question as that is?
Puarma Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 It's great to see AI improving and there is more improvements coming! I've been playing Il-2 after a long pause and enemy evasive maneuvers have improved a lot. Last spring I too often saw enemy flying circles instead of trying to shook me off his tail. I also recently started flying without icons and that also might help enemy getting away...

I kind of assume that AI in flight sims is tougher to do than AI in other types of games because there are so many variables involved to make it realistic, but they just keep making things better and better.

Agreed, they have been making very good progress on this front.
