JG7_X-Man Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 (edited) Is would be a great environmental effect that would be welcome. I have mentioned this before but as someone that uses Active Sky Next with P3Dv4 and X-Plane 11, it would be a great effect to add to IL-2 GBs For those that don't understand what I am talking about: When you are sitting in your virtual cockpit and fly though either clouds, fog or smoke - the view between canopy and wing doesn't fade as it would in real life. The visibility should decrease. This was taking back in 2013 - now, it's even more impressive. Edited November 25, 2019 by JG7_X-Man 1
peregrine7 Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 I agree completely! This may be best suited for the suggestions subforum.
Gambit21 Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Basically you’re suggesting that the Devs change their cloud tech, (which is where this effect would stem from). So you - A - are not aware of past comments from the Devs about the current cloud tech...B - you are not aware (somehow) that this effect or lack of it is a result of whatever volumetric cloud tech is in use. 2
MarderIV Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Folks really need to understand the distinction between "Good to have features" and "Critical must-develop features". Not egging on you or anything, absolutely not. But as cool as this sounds, there are still a lot of other areas that must be homed in on first. 2
[APAF]VR_Spartan85 Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 I just wish the prop of other aircraft wasn’t visible through clouds... it very easy to track/get followed when in a cloud..
