For me it’s somewhere between a dream and a nightmare. Makes for some amazing videos though.

They all impact sooner or later. 

 

 

All of the pioneers of that sport I believe have impacted, and others since.

 Looks like fun until one goes splat. End of story. Skilled guys, but at times seems they take unnecessary risks to "get that adrenaline filled video" to show off.

I've done years of parachuting... but I'd never ever want to do that. It made me nervous just watching it.

Yeah, I thought that but after getting over the initial nuasea I remembered that three decades ago I used to do this for fun.....

That's fucking cool! Huge respect to those guys. I wish them safe landings!

 

I wonder how they train to fly those things. Like jumping from the aircraft at a typical parachute altitude, gliding a bit and then deploying the parachute while still having a high altitude?
