Kampfflieger carreer - to frequent night missions?

I recently started two carreers as German Kampfflieger He111 BoM and Ju87 BoS.

 

In both carreers I'm usually send out at night...

 

From what I read I came under impression that night bombing/night fighting wasn't a big thing for Luftwaffe forces on the eastern front with all units proficient at these tasks locked in combat with the RAF in the west...

 

Maybe a few unsuccessful semi strategic raids gainst cities but certainly not the tactical mission we get in carreer.

 

And while the he111 was certainly capapble of nightbombing and did so throughout the war - highly dangerous high precision dive bombing doesn't make any sense at night and would only make sense after the Germans lost all hope of ever achieving local air superiority anywhere again - but certainly not summer/autumn 1942.

 

Here are my questions:

Are my information/assumptions wrong?

Was I just unlucky with the mission  creation logic and daylight operations are actually the norm?

Or are night missions actually way to present in current carreer structure for German KGs?

And finally can I do something to influence the frequency of night missions?

Yeah, night missions for the Ju87 appear a bit strange. But for the He111 I think it's okay.
