Career mode - is anyone else having problems getting in??

It worked fine until last night. Tried to do a LW career and it just constantly was "loading "(the mouse icon) now I cant even go into tee he career mode selection screen. It just sits loading.

Anyone else?

Is it just career mode? Can you log into multiplayer servers, etc.?

Ill try multi. I can get scripted, qmbs etc.  Career mode last nite worked. Then i went to LW and on the screen that youd do pimot detauls i got the endless rotating circle (wait signal)

I tried restarting etc. I really dont want to reinstall..in very wary of how many activations i have etc.

I realmy wanted to play career mode..pwgc is cool. But career mode has its appeal too and I just wanted to explore it

Damnit..notthing works at all.  There mist be sometning besides uninstall?!

Are you a Steam Il2 flyer or using the Program Launcher from 1C/777?

 

If Steam - try verifying your game files.

Also check drive trim/defrag

I doubt it would be a network issue as you are here ok. ?

Its so weird.  I tried just now. It endlessly loads. Every other game type works fine.

It worked 24 hours ago... the last time i used the computer

Any windows or drivers updates? Seems to be a few people having trouble launching the game in the forum...

Yes only career mode.  Id further add no updates it just happened.

All that happens is you get the screen where you could choose the nation; exvept its blank and the loading circle spins endlessly.

The only way to break it is ctrl alt delete or a button restart.

Btw do you know where crash dumps are usually located? Would a ctrl alt delete exit cre eate one?

Hello !

 

I'm encountering the same problem : after requesting a transfer to a new squadron (from 416th RCAF at Evere Airfield to 328th USAAF at Asch) on December 23rd, I flew my last mission then clicked on "Next Day", the date changed to December 24th but the game is endlessly displaying "Please wait..." with the spinning mouse pointer. Nice Christmas present ?

 

Killing the game process and restarting doesn't fix anything, this career is still stuck to the "Please wait..." step.

I'm able to start and play a new career though, but would really like to fix the previous one.

 

Anybody else having such issues with career ?
