Engine Management in MP

Can you use simple start-up and automatic engine management on MP servers or do all engine functions have to be manually controlled?

Automatic engine management is enabled or disabled by each server administrator.

 

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "simple start up" but I suspect you mean that you press a key and the engine startup procedure is done automatically. In that case, simple startup is the same as in singleplayer. However, in both mission types, you now need to add a little throttle before startup so that the engine starts properly and keeps going, after which you can throttle down to idle.
