15[Span.]/JG51Navarro Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Hello everyone I don't know if this is the right place for this thread. If not, please tell me where I can post it... I have a lot of problems starting the game, sometimes I have to restart it 6-7 times before I can fly. Any recommendation or advice that helps me to solve this problem will be very grateful. Greetings, 15(Span.)/JG51Navarro
Thad Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Salutations, Not sure but try turning off any unneeded programs the you may have running in the background. If that proves to be the problem.... add them back one at a time until the problem program is identified. Good luck.

jollyjack Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 you can check what's running via taskmanager, pressing control-alt-delete at the same time, the top part shows the running programs, some you might need, and you can close some. If you know what you do: autoruns is a tool you could use fur controlling auto startup by programs, and you might find bloat ware in the way of IL2.

Thx jollyjak, when I press control-alt-delete there are only two programs running: IL-2 and TrackIR thats all. Another problem is that it won't let me access the taskmanager to shut down the game, the only option I have is to restart it. I've never heard anything about the autoruns before. I have to say that I am quite denied with subjects of informatica... ?

=FSB=Man-Yac Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 I have the same issue.. The game won't load first loading screen. I already reinstalled the game. I have no clue what It could be. I noticed my game was not synced with il-2 and I had to manually connect everytime. Now I can't even get to the menu.

Does the game just hang on the loading screen, or does it just fail to log you in? Are you using the launcher or the .exe?

Windows (10) update on is always risky, and the ONLY way to shut it down is with a tool called ' Windows Update Switch". Windows itself keeps turning it on. Sometimes there are important security updates, you can always download these manually. Also found that the latest Windows Defender screws up things that normally install without probs ...

Windows does some weird things to programs when it thinks it doesn't have permission. If it doesn't fix the problem at least we can rule it out.
