Luna script error

Hi all,

 

i wonder if anyone can help.

 

Whenever  I load a scripted mission with ships I get a "luna script" error dialogue box normally linked to ships and/or some flak installations. Sometimes I can get the mission to load by just hitting "enter" key until all the error dialogue boxes close, other times the mission will not load. I've had this problem with Jade-Monkeys missions and with "Actung Spitfire" -  defend the docks mission.

 

I've contacted the Il2 technical section but they responded with "you have to get in touch with the mission maker", I don't think that's the answer.

 

I've tried a fresh install, but that didn't help either.

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You have to show which specific file is being called out in the error. It's usually a particular object of the mission editor being called out, like the smoke emitter for example.

Hey JM,

 

in one of your ground attack missions I get:

 

Lunascriptsworldobjects/landboatA/landboatA-MGC30.txt

Lunascriptsworldobjects/ships/subtype2B/subtype2Btorpedoturret-L.txt

Lunascriptsworldobjects/ships/subtype2B/subtype2Btorpedoturret-C.txt

 

..........and the game locks up.

You either don't have those units installed (boats/subs) or you have then under a different name. Need to look in your folders and see.

I've checked my worldobjects folder and the error I receive is for objects I do not have in my worldobjects folder.

 

I've already tried a fresh install, any ideas?
