ChezDaJez Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 (edited) Zero sound when VR enabled from startup to exit. Sound works fine with VR disabled. Worked when I first updated Flying Circus game to release version but on second startup, no sound. If I turn off VR, sound works great. System Specs: Asus Z87-Pro MB Intel I7-4790 4.0ghz DDR3 32mb Samsung 1TB SSD MSI GeForce GTX1070 Windows 10 HTC Vive Using built in sound on MB Edited November 17, 2019 by ChezDaJez
OrLoK Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 sometimes (depending how I launch it) I have to manually tell my pc to use my headset before I launch the game. ensure that it's set in Windows.
ChezDaJez Posted November 29, 2019 Author Posted November 29, 2019 Figured it out. Sound is being routed through the earphone pigtail on the VIVE headset. Don't know why but this is the only game I have that does that. That means every time I want to play Flying Circus, I have to disconnect my headset from the computer and attach it to the VIVE headset. This is really stupid. At least give us a choice...
-332FG-Gordon200 Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 @ChezDaJez Have you checked your audio settings in SteamVR? It gives you options for switching to headset mic and earphones when in VR.
