Any more updates on this? I've given up on Allied fighter-bomber careers for the moment, since half the Luftwaffe will still happily follow you all the way to home base, every single time.

 

Not to mention, there's a new really ugly behavior: once the enemy planes reach your home airfield, they will fly slow, lazy circles, just waiting to be shot down by AAA. It looks really, really bad.
